Use a full address, including https://. If the URL field and a file are both filled in, clear one of them. ReadMeliora saves a URL or a file, not both. If the page cannot be fetched, the error on the save dialog is the reason. Try the address in a browser, then save again.

A file

Check the type and the size. Accepted types are text, Markdown, PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, BMP, and Word. Each file must be 20 MB or smaller, and your account must have room left. See Save a file and Storage. You can drop the file onto the app, or choose it from Save a URL.

An email

Confirm you sent it to the address on Settings, then Emails. Mail from your account email is always accepted. Add any other sender under Allowed senders before you expect that mail to be saved. Attachments use the same file types and the 20 MB limit.

A feed

Paste the feed address, not the site homepage, unless that homepage is the feed. After you add it, choose Check feeds. No new items means the latest entries are already in your library. Removing a feed stops future items. It does not remove articles already saved. If a search says it could not be read, use fewer special characters and try again. See Search and sort.
