Inbox, Library, and Archive

Every saved article is in one of two places: the library, or the archive. Inbox is a view of the library, not a third copy.

Inbox

Inbox lists articles that are still in the library and not marked read. The number beside Inbox is how many of those are unread. When Inbox is empty, the page says nothing is unread.

Library

Library lists every article that is not archived. That includes articles you have marked read and articles you have not. When you have not saved anything, Library asks you to save an article. You can also drop a file onto the app.

Archive

Archive holds articles you have set aside. Archiving does not delete the article. Move an article to Archive in any of these ways:

• Choose Archive on the article, in the list or in the reader.
• Press e while the article is highlighted in a list, or while you are reading it.
• Drag the article onto Archive in the sidebar.

From Archive, the same control is Move to library. Pressing e moves it back as well.

Mark read

An article stays unread until you mark it read. Marking it read removes it from Inbox and leaves it in Library. Choose Mark read on the article, or press m. Choose Mark unread, or press m again, to put it back in Inbox.
