The API key is how a browser extension saves a page or a file into your library. The Chrome extension is not available yet. You can create the key now and keep it for when the extension is released. See Chrome extension. Open Settings, then API.

Create a key

If no key exists yet, the page says so. Choose Create key.

Copy it

The key is shown once. Choose Copy key. After you leave the page, ReadMeliora will not show that key again. It will only say that a key is active, when it was created, and when it was last used.

Refresh it

Choose Refresh key to replace the current key. The previous key stops working. The new key is shown once.
Refreshing a key replaces the previous one. Copy the new key before you leave the page.
