# Introduction

> Save articles, newsletters, files, and videos, then read them when you are ready.

<Note>
  ReadMeliora is in beta, and bugs may occur. If you run into one, use the support widget in the bottom right corner of the app. [How to submit a bug](/help/report-a-bug) shows where that button is.
</Note>

ReadMeliora is a place to save articles, newsletters, files, and YouTube videos, then read them in a clean column. It is free while the app is in beta.

A piece stays unread until you mark it read. Labels, highlights, notes, and search help you find it again.

<Columns cols={2}>

## What you can do

* Save a link, a file, an email, a feed item, or a YouTube video.
* Read without the page around it. Set the type, turn on Focus, and switch to dark mode.
* Label, search, archive, and mark read when you mean to.
* Highlight a passage, add a note, and export your highlights.

<Note>
  The Chrome extension is not available yet. You can save from the app today. [The extension](/save/extension) explains what it will do, and how to prepare a key.
